QUEEN CONTEST

Ages 13-17 by January 1 of current year

Winner receives a crown, buckle, sash, and other prizes. She will also have traveling chaps to use for the year of her reign.

PRINCESS CONTEST

Ages 8-12 by January 1 of current year

Winner receives a crown, buckle, sash, and other prizes. She will also have traveling chaps to use for the year of her reign.

REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER: Application form, medical release, head and shoulders color photo, for publicity, and $25 (non-refundable) entry fee postmarked by June 25. A required $50 sponsorship is due by July 14th.

 

COMPETITION CATEGORIES: Horsemanship: pattern, rail work, flag run, queens run. Personal interview with judges, written test, and impromptu questions. Prizes are awarded for each category winner.

DATES/TIMES: Competition is Friday, July 15 with the crowning at the rodeo the Saturday, July 16th. Winners will need to be available for the parade Saturday afternoon and the rodeo on July 16th.
